Does my employer have workers’ compensation coverage?

by | Dec 10, 2015 | Workers Compensation

Probably. With very few exceptions, businesses that have four or more regular employees are required by the state of South Carolina to carry workers’ compensation coverage. If your employer does not have workers’ compensation coverage but is supposed to under the law, you can still file a claim against the South Carolina Uninsured Employer’s Fund. Workers’ compensation coverage applies to all employees of the business, no matter if you are part-time or it is your first day on the job.
